In the ’70 a cousin of mine bought a Ford, and got a very little can of metallic paint for small touch ups.
When she changed the car she had the not-so-smart idea of using that paint, a very nice light blue, on her nails.
She had to wait for her nails to totally regrow to get rid of it without an angle grinder 
Yes, she added other coats of normal nail paint.
